Uni-timer users guide<\/h2>\n

Uni-timer is an Arduino hardware based universal timer-unit with 4 relays, which can be programmed to switch on and off individually or in group.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the project was to build an ultra cheep programmable timer, which will guide a sprinkler system, but happened to be useful for other applications what include timing. The smallest timing scale is 1 minute.<\/p>\n

The circuit made from few cheep modules can be programmed via Bluetooth with an Android application also written by yours truly.<\/p>\n

And now to the point, this is the users guide how to set up the so called program:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. First of all you have to download the app and install it on your android device.<\/li>\n
  2. Plug in the Uni-timer circuit adapter to the mains.<\/li>\n
  3. Start Bluetooth on the android device and search for new devices.<\/li>\n
  4. Pair the UNITIMER device, which will ask for a 4 digit pin code. (If you build it, thats the code you entered for\u00a0 Bluetooth pin.)<\/li>\n
  5. Start the app.<\/li>\n
  6. Tap Download setup button. The app in a short while will make a connection to the Uni-timer and present you an alert window with „Download was successful”. If this did not worked will give a connection error, or ask permission to Bluetooth.<\/li>\n
  7. If everything went fine tap the OK on the alert window, in a few moments the app will populate the setup form with the downloaded data.<\/li>\n
  8. Set up the programs\u00a0 which you want to use, in the rest remove the check-marks from the days.(do not overlap the programs on the same day. That is an „Overlap program” witch we will discuss lower.)<\/li>\n
  9. Tap Upload setup, you get an alert window, if everything went OK then you get an alert window with „Setup uploaded successfully”, if not you get an alert with the number of the faulty program. (correct the program and repeat the process)<\/li>\n
  10. If program was uploaded tap the Quit button to close the app. You are done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The „Overlap program”:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This function is included to save program spaces.<\/p>\n

    If you include a starting and stopping time that falls between the starting and stopping time of a another program, that program will stop at the stopping time of the between falling program. \ud83d\ude00 You have to think a little programmatically if you do time overlap. The main rule is that after every start the circuit will execute the next stop set at the following time. That is true for the starting times too but with stop times. The program number is not taken in consideration.<\/p>\n

    Now to demonstrate<\/strong><\/p>\n

    You have\u00a0 this simple setup on program 1:<\/p>\n

    You add this on program 2 to stop earlier but only on\u00a0 the following days Su, Tu, Th, Sa and you saved a few program spaces.<\/p>\n

    This way you can do multiple time overlaps, and achieve more complex setup if needed. But be careful, if the logic is wrong your program will work faulty.<\/p>\n

    Az \u00e1ramk\u00f6r olcs\u00f3 modulokb\u00f3l van \u00f6sszerakva \u00e9s Bluetooth-on kereszt\u00fcl programozhat\u00f3 egy Androidos applik\u00e1ci\u00f3val.     2. Csatlakoztasd az Uni-timer adapter\u00e9t a h\u00e1l\u00f3zatba.<\/li>\n
    3. Kapcsold be a Bluetooth-ot a telefonodon \u00e9s keress \u00faj eszk\u00f6z\u00f6ket.<\/li>\n
    4. P\u00e1ros\u00edtd az UNITIMER eszk\u00f6zzel a telefont, k\u00e9rni fog egy 4 sz\u00e1mb\u00f3l \u00e1ll\u00f3 PIN-k\u00f3dot. (Ha te \u00e9p\u00edtetted az id\u0151z\u00edt\u0151t akkor ez az a k\u00f3d amit a Bluetoot pink\u00f3dj\u00e1n\u00e1l adt\u00e1l meg.)<\/li>\n
    5. Ind\u00edtsd el az applik\u00e1ci\u00f3t.<\/li>\n
    6. Nyomd meg a Download setup gombot. Kis id\u0151 eltelt\u00e9vel az applik\u00e1ci\u00f3 kapcsol\u00f3dik az id\u0151z\u00edt\u0151h\u00f6z \u00e9s let\u00f6lti a be\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1sait a telefonra,majd ki\u00edrja hogy a let\u00f6lt\u00e9s sikeres.(Download was successful!) Ha a kapcsolat nem j\u00f6tt l\u00e9tre hib\u00e1t fog jelezni. (Ism\u00e9telni kell a gomb megnyom\u00e1s\u00e1t)<\/li>\n
    7. Ha minden rendben t\u00f6rt\u00e9nt megjelennek a be\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1sok amelyeket most m\u00f3dos\u00edthatsz.<\/li>\n
    8. M\u00f3dos\u00edtsd neked megfelel\u0151en a be \u00e9s kikapcsol\u00e1si id\u0151pontokat, egyszer\u0171 programoz\u00e1s eset\u00e9n \u00fagy, hogy a be-ki kapcsol\u00e1si programok ne fedj\u00e9k egym\u00e1st id\u0151ben. Bonyolultabb programoz\u00e1st lentebb t\u00e1rgyalom.<\/li>\n
    9. Nyomd meg a felt\u00f6lt\u00e9s gombot (Upload setup), ha a be\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1s sikeresen megt\u00f6rt\u00e9nt az applik\u00e1ci\u00f3 jelzi egy alart ablakkal.(Setup uploaded successfully!) Ha hiba van a be\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1sokban a program jelzi melyik programhelyet kell jav\u00edtanod.<\/li>\n
    10. A program felt\u00f6lt\u0151d\u00f6tt, nyomd meg a kil\u00e9p\u00e9s gombot.(Quit)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
